I *think* we got black listed by Yahoo. I say think because sometimes email gets through to our customers but not all the site.

I contacted Yahoo, had our host make several changes in configuration, SPF, domainkeys etc. Also sent samples of the emails we send out and how our service works. Described our unsubscribe system and everything...this took several weeks...then they said 'no try back in 4-6 months'

What? We have customers that complain about this issues.

We have tried everything. Changing IP, etc, etc. Nothing seems to work.

If we change hosting companies can get around this issue or is this tied to our domain name?

At first I wanted to work with Yahoo, now I just want to stop the phone calls from customers and web visitors complaining...

Not sure about Yahoo's policies on this, but you might want to look at a 3rd party mailing service in a case like this.

Never had much trouble with Yahoo but a company that I deal with used to have a message on their site actually advising people not to use Yahoo addresses when registering.

Also Hotmail appear to have changed their filtering in the last month as I had a mega list of Hotmail bounces from my last newsletter.

I gave up on a third party service as all the webmail providers seemed to take a dislike to it.

I am having MAJOR problems with both Hotmail & Yahoo.

I am using OE Express with the mail being sent through Gmail. It has worked without problems for the last 2 years.

Now all mail I send from OE is being bounced by both mail services. When I reply direct from Gmail they mostly go through.

This is NOT a mailing but simple responses to customer queries. It's costing me business as the people think I'm not replying to their mail.

Any suggestions?
