Migrating to a new host - grrr

My database-driven info/resources site needs to find a new home where the servers don't melt and explode for no good reason. How many hours, on average, should it take to complete the migration to a new host?

How many hours, on average, should it take to complete the migration to a new host?

Depends on how much data you have and how adept you are at reconfiguring and testing the new system. There are other factors like switching over your DNS and your TTL setting that would also come into play. Without more information about your systems, software, and data it's doubtful you'll get a very accurate response to this query.
