Forum Moderators: phranque
We are a small company running and creating websites for clients. Our in house CMS also includes the ability to send out newsletters as well notification messages on new forum messages. We are using our own mailserver, but as we gain more clients we are having more problems ensuring our emails get delivered and are not blocked. I believe some of this is due to our Mailserver not being configured. However instead of trying to sort out our mailserver, I am wondering if anybody can recommend a mailout service that offers the following (I have not managed to find one, so maybe such a service doesn't exist):
- fully automated through an API
- we tell the service who (list of emails) and what to email (we provide the email content in text/HTML format via the API)
- they send the email and let us know of any bad deliveries via the API
- ideally pay per number of emails, not monthly.
The reason for these requirements is that each client has their own custom newsletter with an opt-in subscribers list. We want them to continue using our CMS and not have to worry about how it works in the backend.
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Robin
