You check these sites, they're low quality, and have no real content.

[snip]

But if you check Alexa, you will found they have nice traffic. (Not bad)

You know how I find these sites? From my weblog, I know these sites are traffic resources of a 2 tier PPC advertisement company, because my site's traffic all from that PPC program.

So, you can see how low quality the traffic come from some 2 tier PPC programs.

But something make my interested in, is how do these low quality sites drive traffic to their websites?

Does anyone know about that?

I wouldn't rely too heavily on the Alexa data being totally accurate. It is easily influenced by the Alexa toolbar and the usage thereof. :)

There are other resources out there that provide similar data. I'd look at those too and do a comparison. I like compete.com but I know that data is also influenced. It is a starting point. I stopped using Alexa after they were purchased last year. Things changed. Overall downward trends from that point forward for most sites that I checked. The data was absolutely incorrect. ;)

I agree, Alexa rankings could be manipulated and one should try not to take them too seriously. Just worry about showing up on Google for your preferred keyword or keyphrases in order to increase sales and brand awareness. regards, osagie irowa
