Just checking our sites headers and the old standard of rating your site with [snip].org expired 8/29/07.

So I went to their site to see what was up and it appears they are now
Internet Content Rating Association
[snip]

it's free.. but I had no idea. wonder if this has hurt any rankings or view-ability.

No, it is not. No service which will check your site for its criteria, and continue to check your site for free. They won't add your site to their database of checked sites, until you register. And this registration costs money, although they mention it only on one place on the site.

Generating a label and putting that advertisement on your site is free (giving them free ad space) but your benefit will only come when you have been added to their paid database.

A pure hoax if you ask me.

That sucks.... I really had no idea it wasnt a free service I know RSAC was free. I did sign up for the free version of their "replacement service" but was never sent code or anything.
