I'm not a spammer. I have a biggish web site and we often want to email our newsletter to tens of thousands of our membership. I haven't done so in a while because of the problems with mass email (cost, performance, spam filters, risk of IP blacklisting, etc.)

Does anyone have a Windows software solution for sending out their newsletter that works well and you can recommend?

Not sure what you mean by a Windows software solution.

We presently send newsletters to almost 2000 members. We switched over to running Dada Mail on our (Apache) server about 6 months ago, and it works like a charm. Was able to set it up so that an email formatted and sent from Outlook gets forwarded on to everyone on the list.

Dada is written in PERL. There is a commercial package available.

I mentioned Windows because it would be nice to interface well with SQL server where we can easily chunk out batches of email addresses, names and titles.

You can try Group Mail - www.group-mail.com

I think you may need to export the SQL data to Excel and then import it into the program.
