Need help adding url for SendMail email program

I have looked at like 10 things. Getting really frustrated. I want to add a url so I can send/receive emails from that account. I cannot seem to get it to work right. Can anyone give me some direction. I have DNS setup, I added a record to MX as one tutorial suggested. Not sure what I have to configure on sendmail to get it to work. Anyone with experience please help

did you ever get this working?
i don't have a lot of experience here, but sendmail doesn't really need to know much about the email destination.
the destination should handle bad addresses and a bad address shouldn't stop the email from being sent.
have you checked that your smtp server is set up correctly?
and you might have to do something with mail queues...
