Hi there, and a very happy new year to all!

I'm hoping that somebody can advise me on developing a website advertising strategy.

Basically I have been charged with creating the advertising strategy for a new international social network. Coming from a development background, this is quite daunting. Can anybody point me to a URL to kick start my research.

Well, I'm no expert, but you should definitely at least read up on google adwords (adwords.google.com) as it's definitely one of the major tools for online advertising.

There's also other sites (like adbrite.com) to use to advertise as well, and are worth looking into.
