do i have to also sign up with others?

Hi everyone :)

I was wondering about addthis button

If I use addthis just so other people can add / bookmark me on digg, del.icio.us, stumbleupon, etc

Do I have to sign up individually with them as well? (with digg, del.icio.us, su, etc)?

or can I just sign up with addthis and put the addthis button and that's it? I don't even have to sign up with those individual services at all?

I've emailed addthis and haven't got a reply, so i'm asking here , sorry if it's such a basic question :)

Nope, you don't need to sign up for the social bookmark sites to be able to use it.

For it to be helpful for your site, it would have to be the type to attract visitors that not only know about social bookmarks, but actually use them.
