I have a client I am setting up a web site for that wants to sell photography. He wants a gallery management program that will allow him to upload and delete his own photos, add new galleries, remove old ones, add commentary to photos, and have the pictures automatically protected on upload with a copyright image similar to what istock uses on their site.

He is not a technical person so it has to be easy to use, basically just something he logs into and does it and logs out. I guess I could custom build a program that does this, but I have to believe there is something already out there he can use that I can purchase and implement for him and turn him loose on it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Coppermine has all those features and more, you might have to add a mod for the watermark. I've used it for quite a while myself.

I've heard good things about gallery too, I'll be testing it out myself shortly as I may want to switch if all of what I heard is true. Certainly looks like the user interface is easier to navigate.

Both are open source.
