Bought a windows hosting but we're not gonna use .asp pages anymore. Instead we're gonna use .html. I see .html pages are not working on that hosting, is there anything I can do about that?
Or I just shutdown the windows account and pay a new one in linux?

Although I know "nothing" about Win server setups I do "know" they serve .htm and .html pages. They can/do run PHP and perl/CGI files also. Must be something in your config, but I haven't a clue on configuring Windows servers.

edited/added That being said if I did not 'need" to use a Windows server (.net/asp) I would move to a Linux plan/server as you will normally find it better and less expensive....

Try .htm. It's just the domain is not configured to recognize the .html extension. An admin or the hosting company can fix that up for you. But you will find a lot of similar oddities with Windows servers, if you don't have a specific reason for using Windows, set it up on 'Nix. :-)
