Which is the best strategy for the web and I am sure this has been debated often:

domain 1 :

content 1
content 2
content 3

or a specific domain for each content

Domain 1 : content 1
Domain 2 : content 2
Domain 3 : content 3

IMO if the topics are unrelated, you will get better results by targeting them as individual domains. Web GreenWidgets.com, #*$!, and BlueWidgets.com will all do much better for Green Widgets, Red Widgets, and Blue Widgets individually.

However if they are related, as Widgets are, they would likely do better on a single site, especially if you'd like to shop for widgets and compare them.

Edit: some of the word censors here make absolutely no sense at all. LOL!

If you dump everything (related) into one domain, it is more likely to rank highly; separate domains or subdomains will not support a central pointa as strongly as a single domain.

So it depends on what you want to do, and what the content is about.
