Do you know if it is possible to create a new folder in T bird
And have all “opened” mails moved in
Since I am just starting to use it I am no expert in T bird :)

So please be gentle with explanations
Thanks

Yes, that's easy. Just right click on 'inbox' and select 'create new folder'. You can then move any emails into this new sub folder.

BTW indeed the title should read moving "MAIL" not "MAIN"

Thanks, the folder thing is easy
moving is easy one at a time
but how will I get it done on auto mode?
that's where I have no clue

Sorry I misunderstood your question.

Maybe this helps:

Tools > Account Settings

Then on the server settings bit, select 'Advanced'. And from here change from 'global inbox'. I think this allows you to have email from different accounts go directly to the correct folder, rather than all going to the same inbox.

However if this isn't what you require then maybe the message filters can help - tools > message filters.

Good luck. I've found Thunderbird quite useful since switching from Outlook. I switched because I was sick of Outlook continually crashing. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I prefer the big T.
