I'm for a while member here yet do not frequent so often. I'm not really sure if this is the right place / thread to ask.
I'm more a weekend warrior webmaster, do my own business website for budget reasons, so experience limited.
I found my website indexed with Google but in another language ( I asume chinese) with some menu on it refering to a translation website named Mojo Lingo. I seen my different pages often translated, mainly Google or babelfish when checking my stats but I never see that sites indexed with the search engines in translated version.
So my question is: does it hurt my site in traffic etc. if that mojo lingo does display it and how can I stop it?
Any advise is welcome.
Sorry for my maybe not correct english writing, aint my first language.
Greetings from La Paz MEX
I haven't looked into the particulars of blocking this site, but here's a thread of how another user blocked Yahoo Japan's translation service: Block honyaku.yahoofs.jp from my site [webmasterworld.com]
thanks for reply. I understand the translation service and I went to their site. I just dont understand why that site (my page translated) is indexed with Google while other pages that been translated in the past not. So I asume that is somethings more permanent.
I'll think about blocking that site from doing so - guess have to find out if it hurts me or takes bandwith otherwise I'm not mind since tourism related biz here and also many asian visitors. I would block access for them if that is a legit service.
