Help! Someone copying my site!

First off I apologize if this is not in the correct forum...

I noticed on my server logs yesterday, some person (or bot) chewed up about 1GB of my bandwidth, as it downloaded almost everything on my website.

Their IP address is : <removed>

Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening in the future?

It would be nice to limit user's bandwidth so this could not happen again.

I wonder if I should be concerned about this, since my website is for e-commerce.

You can punch in the ip address at samspade.org

If it's nefarious activity, you can report it.

Before we had those superfast 56k modems, downloading a whole site to the hard disk and then viewing off line was often recommended.

First off! Identify who that someone is and then start planning your next moves: sending a notification letter to the site owner, contacting his/her ISP and asking them to take the site down if the owner is not inclined to remove the content and so forth.

are you 100% sure they are copying your website or just assume?
