do they have their own seo?

I was checking out some keyword phrases in google for "city name + hotels" and most of the top 10 results have pages from travel . yahoo. com. do you think that yahoo has their own inhouse seo working away on how to rank better in google? just seems kinda funny that another search engine is trying to optimize their pages to rank well in google.

Yes, they have inhouse SEOs. Makes perfect sense as Yahoo has lots of content that they want to monetize.
