I have not seen any recent discussion about webaroo, but I noticed that it is starting to hit my site.

What happens with Adsense? I saw some mention that they might be inserting their own Adsense but nothing really confirmed.

Should I ban it with .htaccess or just let them through.

It would be great to hear peoples views on a product that Stores Web Content Offline.

block it. They're content thieves.

I use similar software when I go on vacation. I download parts of sites related to where I am visiting onto my notebook computer. This allows me to review the site in my room in the evening or morning without needing Internet access. (Which isn't always available.)

Am I a content thief?

Or am I a bonus viewer you wouldn't otherwise have?

(I don't know anything specific about Webaroo - particularly whether they insert their own ads, etc. The software that I use doesn't. It simply downloads content to the link level I specify to my hard drive, altering it so that the links work locally.)
