Wanted to get involved and collect fund online

I can't seem to collect ideas on how generally I should proceed with this. I just have the interest in doing it.

I would like to hear anything you think is interesting to help me kick off the research and development.

Any thoughts is appreciated.

I would start by looking at existing online charity sites and use them as an example. Also, I would think you should get a lawyer right away so you can set yourself up as a legit operation and pre-empt any legal issues with collecting/distributing charity money.

I will right away work on the legal issues. This indeed should be given all the priorities.

What are the good ways of reaching up to people? Can I do something different than the normal commercial sites that we have?

Getting a decent merchant account is also going to be tough. You may need to rely on checks, PayPal, etc.
