Hello to the forum,

I am looking for a script that can display the time of day in several countries on the front page of our intranet. We currently have one that has been done in JS which works perfectly here in the UK but our US office has informed us that none of the times displayed are correct. Does anyone know of a good script in PHP, JS or another that could help us display the right times in each of the countries.

With many thanks in advance,

-Gs

The JS time depends on their local system settings, and make sure the time zone is not hard coded.

Hi Habtom,

Thank you for your prompt response. Yes I was thinking it was to do with locale settings and checked that the JS function was creating a new date object from the clients PC which has made it strange why it doesnt work there! Do you know if there is a better way of doing this with PHP or similar avoiding the client settings? Our consultants wouldnt think of adjusting their time zones whilst visiting the states and this might run into more issues with the displaying of times related to their current location.

All help appreciated :)
