I have 5 different services running on a same website hosted in different folders..I would like to host each of these services into a separate domain say service1.com, service2.com etc..

The problem is that, currently I am using a common signon thing and users can access any of the 5 services with same user id and password and they even dont need to signin again and again while they move from one service to another. If I host the services on different domains, the session couldn't be maintained across.

So I was thinking of domain masking as a quick solution. Do the search engines label it as white hat or this may come under radar..

Could you work with a distributed identity system like OpenID, or something similar? IDs for Drupal, WordPress, TypeKey, AIM and others are being used to identify users across a range of sites these days. You could perhaps use one of the existing systems or formulate your own.
