Dear Friends,

I want some Google search results to be removed from Google. It's not a Google website, it's my own website on another ISP. I forbid the pages and the pages are no longer accessible within my website but the documents which are some Microsoft Excel files are still available as cached on Google. I need them removed from Google immediately. :(

Your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Take a look at Google webmaster tools:

yeah, webmaster tools now has an index removal tool where you can remove indexed pages you do not want to be seen.

Also, dont forget the wayback machine (sp) which collects cached copies of your site at regular intervals through time....unless you specify otherwise.

I had this issue and had to submit a removal request through a link on their site and then you need to add this to your robots.txt
