[news.bbc.co.uk...]

The UK's big five mobile phone firms have switched on a payment system that turns handsets into digital wallets.

Called PayForIt, the scheme is designed for those buying goods and services with a value of up to £10...

PayForIt will appear as a payment option on sites that people can get to via their handset and soon will also appear as a way to pay on websites too

Assuming anonymous pay-as-you-go continues to be an option for mobile phones, this would give the adult industry a boost. Personally, I'm of the opinion that telephone anonymity should not be possible.

I don't mind telephone anonymity so long as automatically blocking anonymous calls is free (which it isn't from my telco) so I never need know about people who won't tell me who they are.
