Having worked hard for many years, I have yet to accomplish anything. I'm too honest. It just doesn't work in this #*$!ty world.

Now, what's the best way to get quick cash on-line? I no longer care if it involved spamming and illegal activities.

Pornography is the #1 industry on Earth - pharmaceuticals and gambling are another safe bet.

Figure out how to combine all 3 into 1 and you'd have a killer site!

Maybe you are in a wrong industry - have a look at your hobbies or other things you did in the past, you may find that you can earn money there with a lot less stress and use online world only to enjoy rather than work hard.

Ah, music to thy ears, how majestic. ;)

You can also diversify. Take a couple of those hobbies, or even a few and branch out. Don't ever say...

I Give Up!

From that point forward it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Stop now, think really hard and then get off your arse and "just do it".

I'm going to become another of those scumbags...

Ah, think about your Karma here. You don't have to be a scumbag to make money in any of the industries mentioned. :)

Mokimodo,

Money will not change your life nor solve your problems. Sometimes this takes people their whole lives to realize, sometimes after everything else falls apart.

My advice. Do something you enjoy! Stop doing what you do to chase after the Almighty Dollar! If you like webdesign, then you will do it, and you will be good at it, and your expenses will pay for themselves. If you don't like what you do or you chase after the money train, you will wind up as that guy who is all alone who sends spam email after spam email. Nobody will like you and you won't be able to show your face and say "Hey, I'm a spammer! That's what I do!"

Don't become an Ebeneezer Scrooge. Don't lose your soul over this. It's not worth it.

If you truly enjoy doing what you do, and you have something to give to someone else, things will work out.

I don't care how much you know, I don't care how talented you are. These things will only get you so far (Michael Vick is a good example), and then they will leave you high and dry if you don't watch out. Talent will only take you so far, and that's that.

There is no clear cut line why some sites are successful and why some aren't. I wish I could just give you a list of commandments and say follow these, and you will do well. But I can't. Some people are just luckier than others. Some people practice good values and make it. Maybe this isn't your industry or maybe you have something to learn.

Take it from me, I am an ex spammer. Yes, I made a lot of money very fast, but I damn near lost my soul and my life in the process. My health detiorated, I didn't like what I became, I was haunted. Now what I do is honest. The money may not be as great, but the riches I receive far outweigh anything that money could provide for me. I have life, hapiness, success, blessings. I enjoy what I do. I run my life and it doesn't run me. Some people don't get a second chance, thankfully I did.

I believe that when I achieve a certain level in my life, the money will eventually come if it's supposed to. I hope to be wise and mature enough at that time to put it to a good cause and not to blow it on something foolish and stupid. I seek not to be selfish, but to be someone who makes a difference. I can show my face now.

There is more to webdesign or anything in life than meets the eye. Sure you could put up a site and make lots of money off of it if the cards fall in the right spots (which they don't always), but you will still remain empty and unfulfilled.

So build a community, build something that somebody needs, and you will be far more profitable. You may even be able to employ people and give something back for all your effort. Just keep it real. You have a lot to learn. Dont' be discouraged. Things take time and a lot of patience! If your motives are right, they will come, eventually they will come, just give it time. You have a lot to learn, but don't become discouraged! Good luck on your journeys my friend!

Bless you.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking that "I'm too honest" isn't the underlying reason for your lack of success.

Based on all the questions you've asked over the past week, I think a more important factor is a serious lack of patience. The Internet is fast, but not THAT fast. It still takes years to learn how everything works and to develop a profitable business. Sorry to burst your bubble, but even spamming, scamming, porn and spyware require a lot of smarts.

I have yet to accomplish anything.

mikomido, I have seen many of your posts of late. Allow an old fart to offer a few insights.

Your posts clearly demonstrate you are an impatient sort by nature. Many of your posts are followed in 6 hours or less by a bump post "Hello?" Impatience with others, with yourself, and with your progress in life is a distraction - it is turning your head from the real issues you should be considering. Patience is a difficult thing to learn, but only through patience will you gain an understanding of what you're supposed to be doing.

Now, what's the best way to get quick cash on-line?

See Impatience. This also reflects maybe, possibly, you're doing all this for the wrong reasons. Is it just money you're after? Or do you have any passion at all for what you do?

If you're not having fun, you need to find something else to do.

Having worked hard for many years,

What is your definition of "many years?" 5? 10? 15? Try banging around for 30 plus years, 20 of them just figuring out what you're supposed to do. See patience above. Life is a looooong question, if we could answer it by age 20, why would we need to live beyond that?

You need to re-assess why you feel you've accomplished nothing. You've already answered it once -

It just doesn't work in this #*$!ty world.

But this is the wrong answer. You need to ask yourself 1) what is my motivation for doing what I do? 2) Is this really what I want to do? and 3) what do I need to change to be who I want to be?

Answer these three and learn to be patient with yourself, and things will begin to change for you.
