How do I make a great menu?

Need to be able to show sub-meny items.

How can I make my menus look nicer?
They look too different in Mozilla and IE.

And most importantly, How can I have static submenu items in the menu.

I've seen some nice menu navigation code out there (free) using unordered lists and CSS formatting. One of those might work; they're on CSS sites if you do a search.

Try these threads, and refine the search if you need to:
