adding forums?

i need help on this...

first of all, hello everyone.
second, I was reading Timm'ys topic about him adding forums to his page. I also need to add forums, and I found something called "miniBB20" and i don't know what to do with it now that i've downloaded it.

I'm not familiar with that package but most popular forum software packages are written in PHP or Perl and require a MySQL database or the like. Your web host will need to offer these features for you to be able to use the forum software. You may need a programmer for this part. Some hosts also have specific forum software that they support or license so you might want to see what your host offers or shop around.
