Hi,
I am based in Fiji moved from England, i have started an IT service over here including web design. There are so many companies already over here that supply a web design service that i feel out of my depth when i think where to start. I have designed our website <snip>. i just wanted to know what sort of price you would charge for a site like this. I also have around 15 more templates i have designed that are for the likes of widget sites. It would be a great help.

Thanks

Hi Neil and welcome to WebmasterWorld.

It's impossible to give guide prices without knowing your local market - that's something that you'll need to ascertain - find out the market rates and price accordingly depending on which end of the market you want to pitch yourself at.

It depends on which scale of business'that you work with in Fiji. Those with an international presence often have their sites done by overseas business'in the US , NZ and Australia, especially if they involve db work. Some of that work can end up in India, since ha;f the population is Indian and well connected in business in Fiji.

There is some limited local expertise in Fiji for db's.

In terms of market pricing, generally if you can persuade the local market on the benefits of your work, just benchmark it's quality of output against your competitors.
