Quiz Result "Blog Codes"?

What the heck are they?

Hello. I have a site with one of those silly "personality test" things, and the results are displayed with a div containing an image and some text.

I have received a number of requests to add "blog codes" for these results. I don't blog, and have never used a blog service or blog software, so I'm rather confused about what the heck a blog code is or how to implement it on my site. Some Googling has led me to believe it's either an image "snapshot" of my aforementioned pic-and-text div output, which the user can then save and put in his blog, or it's just a block of content prewrapped in markup, which the user can copy and paste into his blog.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Or point me to some example(s)?

Thanks so much in advance!

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Taraja.

I'm not really sure what blog code is referring to here, but it may be a request for you to add RSS [webmasterworld.com] feeds to your site.

I believe it's making the results available for bloggers to place on their own blogs, in as easy a way as is possible. You can also take advantage of this for promotion by linking to your site through the same code.

I suggest that you provide a TEXTAREA with raw HTML inside to copy and paste. Make it look nice, and provide an example beside it of how it looks when pasted into a blog. Try to avoid fancy tags and scripts, stick to <img> and <a> if you can.
