Browser-based Uploading to YouTube - Help!

I'd like to offer our members the ability to upload their videos to our website's YouTube channel.

Looking at the relevant documentation I believe what we need is called "Browser-based Uploading" using the YouTube Data API Protocol but that's as far as my understanding takes me.

Given that I don't have the programming skills required to implement whatever's necessary can someone just clarify if what I'm looking for is available as an off-the-shelf application somewhere or whether I'd need to hire a programmer to write some custom code?

Many thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice.

macavity,

You should find somebody that understands the YouTube Data API Protocol [code.google.com] to help you out. It's not difficult, but you should have somebody help you that knows what they are doing.

Thanks for the reply. Would the major freelance sites (e.g. Guru, Elance) be the best place to look for someone with those skills do you think?

That's were I would go... we have had great luck finding good programmers on both of the sites you mentioned.
