One suggestion has been using a youtube clone and modifying it to not use or display all of the other things such as: channels, communities, groups, categories, Most Recent¦Most Viewed¦Most Discussed¦Top Favorites¦Top Rated¦Recently Featured¦Random etc. It is all of these additional things that I do not want.
Seems to me the clones may be relatively large scripts and something much simpler would suffice. But I haven't been able to find it.
Any suggestions of, preferably open source, solutions?
I know Revver has a way to do some of it, but I wish to keep the videos on my server rather than have them on Revver's.

So getting a coder to suppress or eliminate parts of the larger scripts is the way to go?
I am not sure youtube would allow me to suggest to everyone that they upload there and then send me the embed link, and then I just run them from youtube. Due to the subject matter I can't use revver or or similar revenue sharing ones. So I guess I have to host it myself.
As I know, moyea web player pro can work as server-based flash video player maker. You can google with phrase "server-based video to flash converter" or "video to flash converter sdk" to check whether there is server-based video to flash converter in the market.
