P.S. From a video ad blog: "a new Doubleclick study found that 8 percent of users have some sort of interaction with video ads with a click-thru rate ranging from 0.4 to 0.74 percent."
That's not enough traffic to judge anything.
Let's make an calculation.
As long as I have about 100.000 visitors a month by search engines, I can make my living with AdSense.
Now let's assume I would try to increase my income only by 10%.
This would mean 10.000 additional visitors a month.
But at a pathetic 0,5% CTR, this would mean to need 2 Million videos shown a month, to have only 10.000 additional visitors.
To have as many new visitors as by search engines, 20 Million videos a month.
When I assume, 10.000 visits for one video is very good,
200 videos necessary for 10% more videos
2000 videos to receive from YouTube as many visitors as from search engines.

The search engine users are looking for something that you have on your site.
The YouTube users are looking for videos of cute kittens doing funny things.
Now at about 2000 video views 10 clicks to my site.
At one video, somebody had a question.
To answer this question, I have some photos on my site, I tried to reply to his post, but impossible to post a comment with the URL.
Hey, I make the video, and when I want to anser a question, I have a muzzle making it impossible to link to the photos answering the question?
