I believe this is the proper forum for this, if it is not, I am very sorry. :)

I am wondering what the best or the only method for converting .AVI, and other movie file formats online into .FLV files. I am not asking for exact code (if it is indeed just a script that does it) but more of a general reference. Thank you, hope someone knows!

FFmpeg seems to be the only free online converting program, but you have to have a host that supports it.

Also, note that I am having issues with it working on my windows based development server/laptop to where it converts it from the command prompt, but not through the web browser. (Takes a split second on the command prompt, and just sits loading in the browser window.)
