A big thank you to all the sponsors and organisers of the event. It was a huge success (I'd say) and that deserves a thank you to everyone who attended as well as those who did so much to make it happen.

My apologies to anyone who I didn't get to meet this time (Sorry Max, I think you'd left by the time I was told you were looking for me - next time? Or sticky-mail me), and my thanks to all those that I did get to meet and chat with.

Kudos to Mike, Mark, Bob, Jan, Louisa, Todd, Marcela, John, Danny, the fine folks at Pandia, BTLookSmart and Goto, and the rest of the cast and crew of the successful 2001 London PubConference for organizing the event. I was elated to participate personally and professionally as TopDog, and enjoyed meeting everyone very much. Count us in for the next one!

BTW, the venue was excellent -- a pub from the early 1400's -- and made a great atmosphere.

Particular admiration goes to those who stayed up all night in the hotel bar on Saturday -- I won't mention names -- great conversations!

Dear friends and members of the Holy Order of the Search Engine Dala-horses!

This was indeed a wonderful arrangement and a splendid idea, indeed! Warm thanks to Mike and all the others who made this possible.

We enjoyed meeting you all very much, and didn't mind the free drinks either (thanks to the sponsors)!

We have said this repeatedly, but will say so again: This is an extremely useful venue, not only because you get new friends, but beceause we all get a better feel for what is going on out there. We need input from others in order to widen our own perspective, on search engines, optimization and marketing in general.

We would also like to thank the search engine and directory representatives (Fast, GoTo and BT LookSmart), who in an open and friendly way gave us a glimpse into their views and plans for the future.

Now, SEO experts and search engines alike, tend to keep their cards close to their chests. Still, it's amazing what you can learn on an evening like this :)

Once again Webmaster World has demonstrated what a valuable community it is.

I allways thought there was to little time for networking at the other conferences. Here it was all networking.

I'd like to add my meagre thanks to the copious plaudits already on offer.

I didnt get to really speak to more than a fraction of the attendees, but I enjoyed speaking to those I did get to.

Very useful, suberb atmosphere and a great example of why this is such a great community :)

I'd like to see a London (or at least UK) based event become annual. I also volunteer my services to help out with that (if required - this one went well, but many hands make light work)

I would certainly like to see a US version as well (never been "across the pond" - be a good excuse)

Yes - The best networking event of its kind I have ever attended! The freestyle worked very well - no need for too much organisation, just an excellent venue and a great bunch of experts and newbies. A big thankyou to all who made it possible.
