Twitter's new API V2 was due for launch this week, but its launch has been put back due to the recent
hack of verified accounts [webmasterworld.com] on the service.
When the new API is launched, it'll have additional developer features, and several of the most requested features, such as conversation threading, poll results in Tweets, pinned Tweets on profiles, spam filtering, and a more powerful stream filtering and search query language.
It'll also have new access levels, standard (free), premium (self-serve paid), and enterprise (custom paid).
