Sharing Ip address

I have heard that having too many domains sharing one ip address and be harmful to search engines. There are also those who said it is not a factor.

What is everyone's input?

I've had up to 150 domains hosted on a box at once. All were reletively low traffic industries but they were all well positioned in the search engines. I just set up a box w/ 130+ domains last week. No problem.

As long as you're not sharing with (PPC) Porn, Pills and Casino sites. Scrapper websites or other low quality websites you should do ok.

i've been searching around forums for an answer to this question, and this is by far the most definative opinion that anyone has - thanks for that

i'm opening it back up to ask more specifically what florinus means by this:

if i launch 100 new 1 page spoke sites with quality content that all have one quality link to my hub site, would this be bad, good, or neutral from an SEO viewpoint.
