Any ideas of value of inbound PR8 link to database generated page?

Hi

I've managed to get a PR8 link from a well respected site.

The link is inbound to mine on a dynamic url [mysite.com...] from a 'proper' page on their site.

Does any one have any experience of a link like this and the effect that it will have on the site overall?

Will the PR cascade to my home page or links off that page?
