Hello all...
I have had a very good RSS feed on my website for many months.

Now in not getting the results I expect..
“What did I expect?” you say...

Well im trying to get my website to have more updated content so when bots visit my site they grab up all the new information..

Now what I have noticed is I on average I only receive 2 hits from Google bot per day, whereas yahoo comes at least 8 times..

What I am trying to gain is a website that has lots of new content every day, and the feed is giving me this. but I do not feel that Google is giving me the attention I desire.. I have two theories..

The first is Duplicate content... as the RSS feed is not mine and many other people may be displaying it can this be a problem?

The second is the RSS feed is not relevant enough to my website.. should I have chosen one that more closer to my website.. for example my site is about anonymous mail, but my RSS feed is about online security.. (its the closest I could find!)

So please anyone. Please share your input.. I am starting to feel that I should just take the RSS feed off completely and keep the PR that im giving away…
