I got a call from [a company] based in uk, who said they could get me 10,000 highly targetted visitors from their high ranking "affiliates" on Google. They harped on about wanting uk based sites to send traffic to in our "category" of business. They say they could direct uk based traffic stumbling onto US sites through to us.

They charge a fee but say if the site doesnt get what they promise then the fee will be refunded?

Is it possible to guarentee results in the first place? Has any other companies recieved calls from this company, has anyone ever heard of them even?

If I;ve put anything in this post I shouldn't have then, my humble apologies, i'm sure the mods will correct me :)

It's not going to happen.

Don't fall for it... by the time you want your money back, they'll be bust or will have disappeared.

Also... most of these schemes, if they work at all (and we have tried a few) are pop-unders. You get the visitor, they get the dosh, the surfer gets a pop-up blocker.

Thanks for that. I kind of thought along those lines myself. If it was as good as they make out, why the need for SEO. We would all be using them instead.

Cheers.:0)
