Need research data on gender and on-line courses.

What I'm trying to find is research data on the percentage of men and women that partake in on-line training courses and what sorts of courses they take. Do you know of a study or website that has this information?

I don't think you are going to find any data on that subject easily available. Well, at least a study that combines various data collected from multiple online training programs.

I would scan around some university sites who have large research programs. There might be some researcher who looked into this or they might have something posted on their students take online courses. Sounds like you are looking more for a study on training courses but it is a start.

Companies and sites who do offer online training might have some numbers posted as well, but who knows how "pure" they are.
