Does linking several pages each containing a target keyword back to a category page about this keyword improve the category pages’ position on Google’s SERP for this keyword? What I mean is I sell several kinds of product X each having a link on a category page. I’ve created several individual pages containing “additional information” about these products which all link to the actual product category page. Will this type of “internal” linking improve search engine ranking or PR in Google?
