Dont see that as being that radical Keymaster because there is no way to do it without involving the banking community and they are getting increasing regulation ...

Do you mean where tax is concerned rather than terrorism ?

My crystal ball says we're going to see some form of modal search rolled out. My guess would be that Google will be first to introduce it, but perhaps MSN. Modal search requires some sort of user profile to store preferences, and MSN's Passport would be easy to adapt to fill that function. Though from a privacy perspective, this would be akin to letting the fox into the hen-house.
