I want to place some classified ads, and in an effort for tracking, I want to differentiate between real clicks and clicks that are made by google spider.
Is there any way to know ip addresses used by google search engine spiders? i have read that google uses a set of computers for its robot.

You'll want to start hanging out in the Google Search News [webmasterworld.com] Forum, learning about googlebot [webmasterworld.com] and listening to others that are here to understand the very same.
