Traffic Builders and De Vos & Jansen, two Dutch Research bureaus, investigated the time an internaut looks at the search engine results.

It seems we want the information fast and that we leave the information fast. The average time is 1.5 seconds.

A second conclusion is that the internauts hardly seperates the organic results from the sponsored results.

A third conclusion is that brand-awareness and knowledge has a very big impact on the view- and clickbehavior of the search engine users.
