I am of the opinion that Ink is a far more sophisicated SE than their results would imply, this goes some way to confirm that view. Thoughts?

So true. This is one of the first patents I've seen that clearly try to tackle irrelevant keyword spamming.

I think some times they have done a good job of enacting it, if in fact some of it comes out what they state here.

Nonetheless, it's always good to know what not to do and these patents are always good at providing those answers.
