Saw this recently from 216.201.9.135:

GET /robots.txt Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; fluid/0.0; +http://www.leak.info/bot.html)

IP maps to what looks like a small-scale hoster / provider of some sort:

216-201-9-135.microtronixesolutions.com
INDEPENDENTSFIBERNETWORK - Com Net, Inc.
Ohio, Ottoville

Did not grab anything beyond robots file (would have been allowed to according to robot rules).

Hm, that's interesting. I’ve been seeing this UA every few days since
:: detour to archived logs ::
mid-2021, but never from anywhere but 194.93.0.abc (same every time).

Somewhere along the line I authorized them, but they've never asked for anything but robots.txt. Is it one of those robots that's simply checking whether a site exists, for which purpose robots.txt will do as well as anything?

Don't block that, one of the things they do is look for things that go bump in the night. [youtube.com...]

Apparently Microtronix Esolutions is the current Mothership (216.201.9.135 - leak.info). I've also seen the UA hailing from Servtech in Moscow (194.93.0.40 - salnikov1.serv-dns.ru). Both only sought robots.txt but they're not welcome one way or another,
