Yes, it's connected in some way to Facebook. When I see it, it's always in the middle of a string of facebookexternalhit requests. Often it's from the same IP (or at least the same /24) as the surrounding requests; in all cases it's from a known FB range.
But if anyone knows why something calling itself adreview needs to look at an image, it's more than I do.

@lucy24. Thanks! In reviewing those requests in greater detail, I now see what you mean. Looks like someone tried to create a Facebook Ad by inserting an image direct from one of my servers. I don't know why someone would do that but I did rename the image so they get a nice 404 instead. =)
