Hi
I have this annoying bot hit every hour my wordpress /feed address
It use opera-mini.net host name and each time comes with different IP
IP range are
82.145.208.
82.145.209.
82.145.210.
82.145.211.
82.145.217.
And
141.0.8.
141.0.9.
141.0.10.
141.0.11.
I already block whole range but the numbers of visitors drop down immediately
Specially from mobile phones users who use Opera browser
I'm not use /feed address that much so I want to redirect to other address ...

In order for anybody to assist you, you'll need to provide a full-line of the bot visit from your raw visitor logs.

FWIW, this thread more appropriate in the SSID forum.

Both those IP ranges are owned by Opera and offered to their customers as proxies. These proxies probably use several IPs within a single browsing session. Either accept the proxy connections or block the complete range.

Opera proxies come from a variety of countries.

Yeah, Opera mini goes through their servers which tries to make them optimized for mobile devices.

Realize this thread was on "hold" due to an error, however still waiting on raw log line?

1) Deny the UA or portion of same UA.
2) Or Allow the IP's EXCEPT from the UA.

Nobody uses Win 98 these days.

#from IP ranges and UA contains Windows 98
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} Windows\ 98
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^141\.([89]|1[0-5])\. [OR]
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^82\.145\.2(0[89]|1[0-9])\.
RewriteRule .* - [F]
