Search engines, mainly.

Good search engine placement comes from numerous links from other sites/blogs, which still account for some traffic.

My rule of thumb is to start with a marketing plan that gets traffic not reliant upon SE's.

Then build up the traffic from the SE's.

Then get back to getting more traffic not reliant upon the SE's. :)
