How to organize pages?

I have more than 100 products. I create a folder for each product and keep all the information pages in following format:

/product-name1/uses.html
/product-name2/order.html
/furniture/table-design.html
/electronics/TV.html

I am moving to a CMS system and need to know if following URL's are better

/products/product-name1-uses.html
/products/product-name2-order.html
/articles/tables-design.html
/articles/tv.html

Better for what? You have more keywords in the directory paths for the first example. There's some debate as to how important that is. Other than that, there's no difference from an SEO standpoint.
