online marketing for enterprise software

we have introduced a web-based enterprise software a few month ago and started with ppc and a few entries in software directories and are now heading to find a place in misc. e-commerce magazines and software tests.
what is your experience in introducing new software that is quite too complex for giving away 30-days trial versions or being listed on versiontracker?

Well according to my experience being a marketing executive of reputed company deals with enterpise softwares , initially you have to invest much for marketing , go for google , make a list of websites which are related to your product and advertise there, you can negotiate with them for banner or link exchange ; similarly search the sites of free download software sites and upload your software of initial version and also if you can go for paid advertising ....! wish You all the best
