looking for Best Search Engine Rank Monitoring Tool

Hi,
I am looking for tools / suggestions for website's search engine rank in the major search engines like yahoo, google, etc.

All the sites which offer such tools(the ones that i've visited), claim to be the best there is.

Can you help deciding on which tool i can go for monitoring the rank of my site in the search engines.

I have used Top Dog (now Top Dog Pro) for about 3 years, and can fully recommend it.

Have tried most of the usual, and found them either more of a PITA to set up, or less easy to use.

May be quite similar to SE Commando, as I believe it came from the same stable (post split)....

I use one of the tools that livingonflash listed above (Advanced Web Ranking), and I can tell you that the search engine ban is not an issue as long as you know what you're doing.

Some of these applications have a "be nice to search engines" option and in this case there is a delay between each query, thus there is virtually no difference between the application and a real user browsing the results.

There are some people on this forum that will tell you never to use "automated tools" for this task. You can listen to them if you want. But I no longer wish to spend all day tracking the results manually. Just imagine the joy of finding the report in my Inbox every morning, without me lifting a finger.

I found the same problem when trying to gauge my own site rank... a few sites provide ranking on 2-3 search engines, but their results seemed dodgy. Some sites offered software for sale, but that is definitely not something Google encourages.

So my only option was to create my own tool, which could be used by webmasters such as myself, to do limited checks on all major search engines.

My tool is free online, allows u to check rank for one keyword at a time for one site, on up to 4 search engines. You can see it at:

Okay everyone, I'm going to lock this thread down at this point. We'd prefer not to discuss search engine ranking tools here at the forums. There is too much room for abuses to occur as is clearly evident with the last post. These easily turn into URI drop fests and that is the last thing we want to happen.

If you are looking for a search engine ranking tool, my advice would be to search your favorite SE using the above term. I'm sure you will find many tools out there that will do what you need.
